Braskem SA, with a 50% share of Brazil’s resins market, plans to invest US$2.5 billion in a polyethylene plant in Peru. Braskem is working on engineering studies for a US$1.1 bln petrochemical plant iin Venezuela with state- owned Pequiven SA.
