Qatofin plans to start up its 450,000 tpa LLDPE plant at Mesaieed in the fourth quarter of this year. The plant will be located on the Qapco site and along with LLDPE, have the capacity to process 4222,000 tpa of ethylene and 38,000 tpa of butene-1.
