Polyolefin prices in Europe show signs of steady rise following H1 slump

Standard thermoplastics procurers have expected August to be a steady and strengthening phase following the sudden and immediate price increases in July. Following a slump in H1 of 2008, polyolefins iin Europe are seeing a steady rise in prices with the PP grades increasing about 65 Euros/ton, LLDPE augmenting about 60 Euros/ton and HDPE grades increasing by 55 Euros/ton.
