BASF curtails caprolactam production to 65%

Since the end of September, BASF has reduced its worldwide production of caprolactam to about 65%. The production of caprolactam-used in manufacture of plastic polyamide 6-will be reduced at the compaany's sites in Freeport, Texas; Antwerp, Belgium; and Ludwigshafen, Germany.
