Force Majeuere declared by Repsol on C2, C3 and butadiene from Portugal

Repsol YPF has declared a force majeure (FM) on 24 October 2008 for ethylene (C2), propylene (C3) and butadiene (BU) from its 600,000 tpa cracker at Sines site in Portugal. Technical problems have forrced the shutdown, and the plant is expected to be repaired in about three weeks.
