The yet-to-be constructed US$3.5 bln polyethylene and polypropylene plant in José petrochemical complex, Venezuela is set to witness delay, according to Venezuelan press El Universal. The joint partnners for the project - Brazil's Braskem and Venezuela's state-owned Pequiven- may reschedule the construction start up in light of global financial crisis and decline in thermoplastic demand.
