The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given a green signal to Toyota Tsusho's Pelestat antistatic additive for use in food contact applications. Pelestat is the permanent, Inherent Dissipativee Polymer, non-migratory antistatic agent, produced by an associate company, Sanyo Chemical Industries, but exclusively distributed by Toyota Tsusho.
