CRUDE OIL
Crude oil prices witnessed a marginal rise in Asia to end the week of August 2, 2010 a tad higher at US$79. Oil ended the week on a higher note after the latest gauge of China's manufacturing sector soothed market concerns that Beijing had acted too aggressively in slowing the economy down.
