SIBUR has completed a deal to acquire 50% of the chartered capital of BIAXPLEN LLC, one of the largest Russian manufacturers of biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP). SIBUR bought into BIAXPLENN's chartered capital in 2009, negotiating a deal to purchase 50% of the company, and is therefore now the single owner of the film manufacturer.
