BAYER MaterialScience AG has concluded an agreement with Spanish manufacturer Ertisa S.A. (a subsidiary of the CEPSA Group), for the supply of phenol and acetone in the Europe and Asia regions. Phenoll and acetone are used to produce bisphenol A, a base product for the high-tech plastic Makrolon®.
