Taiwans' Formosa Plastics Corp. plans to build a petrochemical complex in Vietnam, over 6,000 hectares: more than three times the size of the company's petrochemical base in Taiwan.
Taipei-based Forrmosa is Taiwan's biggest diversified industrial company, and has planned to expand in Vietnam to cut costs and tap the Southeast Asian market.
