BASF's flexible melamine resin foam -- Basotect® -- have employed in the sound absorbers to improve room acoustics of the newly built Barceló Raval design hotel in Barcelona, Spain. The lobby of the tten-story, four-star hotel has around 2200 ceiling baffles which are made from company's flexible melamine resin foam and ensure optimum speech intelligibility.
