As supply from the Middle East falls, LyondellBasell is seeking additional polypropylene allocation from its South Korean joint venture Polymirae, as per Platts. Al-Waha Petrochemicals, LyondellBaselll's joint venture with Sahara Petrochemicals in Saudi Arabia, was forced to shut its 450,000 tpa PP plant from July 16 to August 2.
