Faced with high prices, low density polyethylene users in Asia are switching to cheaper alternatives. As a result LDPE demand has come under pressure in Asia, as per Platts.
Currently, C6 [metalloccene] LLDPE prices are half way between C4 [butane] LLDPE and LDPE prices.
