July naphtha imports in Japan for the petrochemical sector fell 9.7% in July 2011 from July 2010, marking the fifth consecutive month of year-on-year decline after a massive earthquake in March.
Impports of naphtha for ethylene production amounted to 1,800,893 kilolitres (1,234,751 tons) in July 2011, as per the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
