Shanghai Secco Petrochemical's styrene monomer (SM) and acrylonitrile (ACN) plants could take an additional two to three weeks to restart after they were shut September 8, as per Platts. The company sshut all its production units following a fire at a tank farm, and force majeure was declared on SM and ACN supply.
