South Africa's petrochemicals group Sasol has had to shut down its Germiston plant after a fire caused an explosion. The cause of the fire is unknown as yet, and an investigation is underway. The firee destroyed four tankers and injured one person, at the plant that produces solvents such as butanol, methanol and ethanol.
