Octal Petrochemicals, Oman based petrochem maker announced that it has initiated operations at its second PET plant (300,000 mtpa capacity) in the southeast port city of Salalah. The new plant is the largest PET resin plant of its type in the Middle East and the largest clear rigid PET sheet plant in the world.
