ExxonMobil's Singapore plants shut for scheduled maintenance

ExxonMobil has shuttered several petrochemical units at Singapore Chemical Plant (SCP) for planned maintenance turnaround for about two months. However, the units that have been shut are not known.

SCP is integrated with Exxonmobil's 605,000 bpd refinery at Jurong Island and comprises of an aromatics unit (SAR), with capacity to produce 190,000 tpa benzene, 420,000 tpa paraxylene and 35,000 bpd of reformate.
