Plastic/metal hybrids components are more and more used by the automotive industry. It is the reason why the German firm Henkel AG & Co. KGaA has developed a new adhesive allowing to bond polyolefins such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylenes like HDPE, LDPE to each other as well as to metals without the need for costly, time-consuming surface treatment.
