Styrene and benzene prices dip in tandem with weak naphtha and demand

Benzene and styrene prices in Europe have moved down in tandem with cheaper naphtha and weak demand. Following the 20% fall in the September benzene contract to €576/ton, styrene monomer (SM) fell 9% to €874/ton, cushioning the blow from the €80/ton ethylene rise.
